Flash (Japanese and English)
A move in Pokémon media. Flash blinds the foe with a bright light, as stated by the in-game description and also sometimes shown in the anime and manga. In the games, Flash decreases the foe's accuracy.
In the Generations 1–6 of the games, Flash may be used to illuminate some dark caves.
