So this is the first time that I have actually taken an old OC of mine and used everything I learned in the past year and make it a thing. No letting the AI lead me to some other place, no letting the AI have its way with elements I was unwilling to compromise on, which where only the horns beyond the shape of the lower row, the coloring and style of the wings, and the exact details of her clothes. After some experiments in which I randomly got a nice face portrait of a lady that gave me vibes of Tipal's sister (Taroa), I mucked around with outpainting for that to see how that went. And since that went well I decided to go full-bore and draw Tipal properly out of my head. And so... I used that image that I decided was good enough to approximate Taroa and started that long process. First I used img2img to get a nice face portrait with the right hair color, same horns, and the right feeling. Then outpainted it gradually with many fixes along the way to get the body. With a decent full body picture, even if the anatomy was still janky, I went for more img2img to slowly cgo through the bucket list of needed features, like the somewhat more draconic looking wings, and thick spaded tail. I put that all together, did more inpainting to get higher quality parts where needed, like with the mouth, and then spent several hours in Krita putting everything together and drawing some stuff myself. The pupils are obviously not from the AI. And then... I still had to make a pass at fixing her body shape and shoulders. There are still some minor things I think I could improve, but this is like the 95% mark where I think enough is enough and I better make more other stuff.
The prompt isn't there since the final edits wiped the metadata and... well. The image really doesn't so much have one prompt as it rather has like 20 different ones.
