Kamen Rider Zeztz really surprised us in the last few episodes and proved to be an example that the "It was all a dream" trope can be done right. Unlike other series where a dream twist feels like a lazy reset button that deletes everyone’s progress, Episode 24 actually worked. It felt earned within the show's worldbuilding and, more importantly, it didn't rob Baku of his character development. The stakes are still sky-high because that "dream" is a potential reality he now has to actively fight to prevent. It is his mission to "Don't make his dream come true".
