A hostile mob in Minecraft. Undead, green humanoid creatures who dress in a blue shirt and pants, similarly to the player character in Minecraft, Steve.
Zombies spawn in the dark and ignite when in sunlight. Originally, zombies could be slain and reward the player with feathers, but zombies no longer drop feathers, and instead drop rotten flesh, iron ingot, carrots, and potatoes, or few chance of dropping any tools they hold.
Appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an alternate skin for Steve.
