zeta gundam

Zeta Gundam is the 1985 sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam. It was created by largely the same creative staff as is predecessor, but Ookawara Kunio was assisted in mechanical designs by Nagano Mamoru and Fujita Kazumi.

Zeta Gundam followed in the footsteps of Choujikuu Yousai Macross (1982) by including a large number of transforming robots.

It is set in the year Universal Century 0087, eight years after the conclusion of the original series. It follows the story of Kamille Bidan, designer and pilot of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, in a conflict known as the Gryps War.
