touhoku rakuten golden eagles

Japanese baseball team, based in the city of Sendai and playing in the Pacific League of Nippon Professional Baseball. It is the youngest team in NPB, established in 2004 to fill in the void created by the merger of two teams to form the Orix Buffaloes.
