Named for its host, comedian Kitano Takeshi (Beat Takeshi), this is a popular TBS obstacle game show that originally aired from 1986 to 1990, with reruns popular internationally including in the United States, where it had alternate branding and commentary as MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge) on TNN/Spike.
