super robot wars original generation

A subseries of Super Robot Wars that combines the original characters, mecha, and plot elements from the crossover games into new titles featuring only Banpresto originals. Original characters and units from other Banpresto crossover games appear in the series as well.

The first game in the series was released on Game Boy Advance in 2002 and featured two playable routes, one following Ryuusei Date as the main protagonist and the other following Kyousuke Nanbu. OG1 and Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2 were remade into a single game in Super Robot Wars Original Generations, which was released for PlayStation 2 in 2007.
