RGM-89S Stark Jegan

A variant of the Jegan MS with additional armor, shoulder-mounted missiles for fire support, and overall higher performance. These additional components can be ejected at will by the pilot.

The Stark Jegan has undergone constant iterative redesign. Originally designed by Akitaka Mika as a Char's Counterattack Mobile Suit Variation, the Stark Jegan was later redesigned by Katoki Hajime for use in Gundam Unicorn, a 10-volume set of novels. The design was further altered for the 6-episode Gundam Unicorn OVA series, where it entered canon as a variant of the D-type Jegan, which itself is simply the canonized version of Katoki’s Jegan redesign.
