sprite (drink)
A colorless lemon and lime flavored soft drink created by the Coca-Cola Company. It was first developed in West Germany in 1959 as Fanta Klare Zitrone and was introduced to the United States in 1961 under its current brand name Sprite as a competitor to 7 Up. Sprite is available in a variety of flavors, including but not limited to cranberry, cherry, grape, orange and vanilla.
