Piapro, short for "Peer Production", can refer to several entities owned by Crypton Future Media, Inc:

  • Piapro Family, the group of characters owned by Crypton Future Media: MEIKO, KAITO, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin / Len, and Megurine Luka. Also referred to as "Cryptonloids" by fans.
  • piapro.jp, a website for hosting art, music, and writing related to Vocaloid, especially the Piapro Family.
  • Piapro Studio, the name for two distinct vocal synth software:
    • The original one is a plugin for digital audio workstations used for working with Vocaloids. It runs on the VOCALOID engine and is more-or-less a wrapped version of the VOCALOID software.
    • The newer one is a standalone engine completely separate from VOCALOID and developed by Crypton themselves.

This tag mainly refers to voicebanks using the standalone Piapro engine or posts of official art that have the Piapro label.
