Heavy Metal L-Gaim (重戦機(ヘビーメタル)エルガイム, Jūsenki (Hebī Metaru) Erugaimu,? literally "Heavy Military Strategy L-Gaim") is an 80s mecha anime television series which aired in Japan from 1984 to 1985 and was directed by Tomino Yoshiyuki.

Its characters and mecha were designed by Nagano Mamoru, who would later go on to create The Five Star Stories.
