cave (developer)

Japanese video game company founded in 1994 primarily associated with shoot 'em ups. Since 1995, CAVE has been one of the most prolific shoot 'em up developers in the Japanese market. They have released games for arcade machines, home consoles, PCs and smartphones.

"CAVE" is an acronym for "Computer Art Visual Entertainment".
