bunting
Bunting is:
- a set of strips of material (made of fabric, paper, cardboard, plastic) used as festive decoration, especially in the colors of national flags
- (nautical) A thin cloth of woven wool from which flags are made; it is light enough to spread in a gentle wind but resistant to fraying in a strong wind.
- flags considered as a group, often simple single colored triangular flags (not those of any nation)
They are frequently seen at parties and school sports festivals.
For the variety that features flags of many nations, use: flags of all nations.
