baka to test to shoukanjuu
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (バカとテストと召喚獣, transl. Baka and Test) is a 2007 to 2013 light novel series written by Inoue Kenji and illustrated by Haga Yui, adapted into a 2009 manga series and two anime adaptations in 2010 and 2011 by Silver Link.
The show details the daily lives of Fumizuki Academy's Class F, a section of underachievers comprising of, among others, a consistent flunk-out, the class representative, a bright student whose failure to appear in placement exams landed her in said section, a violent tomboy, an extremely effeminate stage actor, and an ace pervert, and their exam-based battles with other classes using Shoukanjuu, magical beings based on a miniature form of their users whose abilities reflect their users' grades.
