azki (hololive)
A hololive virtual YouTuber. Current character design by Scottie, personal emoji is ⚒ (crossed hammers).
Debuted in November 2018 and became a member of the Inonaka Music label alongside Hoshimachi Suisei in May 2019 before joining hololive proper in April 2022, following the dissolution of the label.
Appearance
AZKi has a black hair with a pink inner hair and purple eyes. She has undergone four different forms as of writing.
First version (November 2018-April 2019)
She was originally designed and 3D-modeled by Chuukarudoruhu. In this form, she wears a black tube top, a black multi-strapped bikini, black asymmetrical legwear, and a modernist red dress.
Second version (April 2019-February 2021)
Cogecha designed her second appearance. In this form, she wears a black strapless dress top, black shorts that connect to her thighhighs, a see-through dress styled to a loincloth, sneakers, and a black coat.
Third version (February 2021-November 2022)
She later received an idol style designed by Koh Rd in 2021 that removed the revealing style of her past designs. Chuukarudoruhu continues to make 3D models for all of the designs, however.
Fourth version (from 15 November 2022)
Scottie designed her current form that was unveiled in her fourth anniversary live. She reverts to the long hair style of the first and second versions while her outfit is now a long white dress with an ascot and a half-jacket to her left, and black high-heeled knee boots.
AZKi retains the distinctive pink facial mark beneath her eyes up until April 2022 (coincide with her official transfer to hololive), when it was replaced with a mole under her left eye.
Personality and trivia
Originally, AZKi was mostly focused on her musical output (hence her designated title "virtual diva", compare with IRyS being "virtual singer"). She started her gaming streams after Sora has invited her to play Minecraft. Following the merger of Inonaka Music to the main branch of hololive in April 2022, AZKi became a regular cast of the group.
Although the fans often compared her with Tokino Sora in terms of "pureness" and "idol-like" image, AZKi has occasionally shown her playful and oftentimes "unpure" sides when provoked.
