Frequently the victim of Symboli Rudolf's horrible puns.

  • Air Groove's official character profile originally had a line mentioning that "she hates men because of a certain traumatic incident in a race" (レース中のとあるトラウマが原因で男嫌い). This line was subsequently removed.
    • The English fan Umamusume wiki has not been updated, so it still retains this snippet.
    • The original character trait was a reference to an a embarrassing incident in the infamous 1997 Japan Cup, where the real-life Air Groove lost the race due to a... sexually-excited Pilsudski vying for her attention (who, to add insult to injury, also managed to overtake her at the last moment and bumped her to second place). Due to the nature of the Umamusume universe, it would make no sense if trauma caused directly by another female character somehow turned into misandry.
  • The above incident is still alluded to by making Fine Motion roommates to Air Groove.
    • The real-life Fine Motion is the half-sister of Pilsudski.
    • This is further referenced by Air Groove having a distaste for the massive pile of souvenirs and gifts given to her by Fine Motion's family (as thanks for Air Groove sharing her tea leaves), implying a personal grudge against Horse Girl Pilsudski.
