An offense-class character in Overwatch. Cassidy used to make a name for himself in the notorious Deadlock Gang, but was eventually busted in an Overwatch sting operation. He was given the choice between rotting in a maximum-security lockup, or joining Blackwatch. He chose the latter, and was under the tutelage of Gabriel Reyes.
Formerly named "Jesse McCree" after one of the former developers who was involved in a sexual harassment lawsuit at Blizzard Entertainment. As of October 22, 2021, his new official name is now Cole Cassidy (displayed as "Cassidy" in-game).
