Edit
SRPG developped by Square as part of the FINAL FANTASY franchise for the Sony PS1. Released in June 1997 in Japan, and January 1998 in North America.
Later ported to the Playstation Portable with new features and characters, and a revised script in the English release(s); for tagging, the PS1 names are aliased to the PSP names.
Not to be confused with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which features similar gameplay but an entirely unrelated storyline.
