Nagatsuki Sanae's dog. He dearly loves his owner, and it drives him crazy that she lavishes attention on Ika Musume instead of him. Conversely, Ika Musume's "owner" Aizawa Eiko thinks Alex is adorable -- but she quickly learned not to let Sanae use him as a distraction.
