"white background" doesn't mean it has to be a blank, solid-color background. If you can't think of anything beyond "a" to write as a reason, it's a good indication that the BUR doesn't have legs to stand on.

I think there's a reason none of the *_background tags implicate that tag; how would you account for multicolored/gradient backgrounds?

Those aren't always necessarily "simple."
