Uncanny valley is the unpleasant experience one feels when confronted with something resembling a human, that isn't one (e.g., a creepy Chucky Doll). I do not know if there is a term specifically to describe the cognitive dissonance for inanimate objects.
While images like these look somewhat real you instantly get a very very unpleasant feeling, and it is very distinct from the feeling you have looking at imperfect sketches or drawings or paintings done by humans.
It's the sum of countless details that just do not fit together. Malformed objects, lighting, composition.
For lack of a better word, this image embodies the very concept of "slop". Its mere existence is truly unpleasant.
Don't get me wrong: You CAN fake reality pretty close, e.g. selloak does very very convincing impressions of real food like post #159968
I hate to see what u think of liminal horror since this is the vibe i got from this, u see AI slop, i see a dude who may be terrified of his bathroom lol
the surrealist art movement was centred around objects or people that are very slightly 'off' maybe this is peaceful to someone who interprets 'reality' as 'slop'
I see your point, but on the other hand: I've been to the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres a few years ago, and you really cannot compare this surrealism :)
In other words, the infamous six-finger problem we all know is evident in dozens of other ways in this image. The toilet is messed up, the toilet brush is distorted, the toilet paper, the window, the tiles, the sink, the lamps, the floor, the light, and so on and so forth...
I really don't mean to be rude, and of course I didn't downvote the image. But I think it's fair to say what I think: The model used and the task, to put it mildly, simply don't fit together. Perhaps the prompting method is just completely off.
I appreciate compliments here, but I also believe it's valuable to be honest when something simply doesn't work. (I hope I didn't express that too harshly.) Perhaps other approaches using the same or different tools or models will lead to the desired result.

technically speaking, kids do not display a lot of intricate shades shown in this picture because they have a higher body fat percentage that is also where their chubby feeling comes from :)
Unfortunately, it's Lost Media; I can't find their art anymore :(, their account was deleted
Ah well that is sad, not unexpected from Pixiv though site has horrible preservation. I would have a look at other sites that scrape images but it's a bit late for me, I'm sure they'll be around somewhere. Maybe a reverse image search on an image we have might bring up somewhere with the others.

Part of their generations has been preserved in the "All Uploads" section (https://aibooru.online/media_assets) — assets from #634765 down to #634570 (around page 35 at the time of writing). I think I also spotted a few more further back.
Some images still retain their metadata as well (for example, asset #634745), so the style itself isn't lost. If you have access to NAI, you can use the metadata to recreate the image and continue generating in that style. I actually saw the same style being used by someone else a few days ago, most likely a different person using the same prompt.
Also, in asset #634601, the censorship appears to have been applied incorrectly. And as far as I know, Pixiv may interpret posting large numbers of images every day as spam, which tends to attract moderator attention more quickly.

> the impossibly wide vagina That's not a vagina. The tags and the prompt both state that it's anal sex. The vulva isn't even visible here. This isn't to discredit the decision itself (left arm is indeed bad), but I am concerned if a reviewer doesn't bother to at least be diligent enough to understand what they are reviewing; in this case the difference between vaginal and anal sex.
thanks for the suggestion ^^ i'm more thinking of something that sounds like an actual name for example my other OCs are named: Rina Bunny (a rabbit) Selene Lynx (a lynx) Kibu Dew (a kobold and so far the only one with a more creative surname)
aibooru is much more consistent than real life, where you could: - work on something for decades and find out it's not worth it in the end of your life - straight up dying in an accident tomorrow, ending up like Kobe or Christopher Reeves
you already achieved enough. it's not about walking fast, but about keep walking down the road of your heart. if anything, you probably need: - more mental toughness - less freckle on gals! (e.g. post #159190. still like her though)
you know, tenboro kept running ehentai when he could barely move because of injury. we need to be like him. P.S. i actually like subjective aspects, it additionally shows the heart of people, which is the most interesting.
I was being serious, I like the image. I don't mind a good 1girl solo breasts, I post a lot of that myself (mostly because other stuff I post is more likely to get deleted/ignored). But I just checked and rating:g is my most commonly upvoted rating. Keep posting good stuff and don't let the slop win.
sidenote / urgent warning when posting this or these to people who view this/these + my posts from last tmes ago: Tell them/anyone that I'm not pretty good with tagging (adding tags or less/more tags) or whether it is involving tags regarding clothes, body parts, background/objects or other. Because tagging was pretty much a pain for me and/or anybody other than to go for basically. 😓
@schpadoinkle I don't know if you're here still, but I went ahead and replaced the image with the version @konny made (good job, thanks). I hope you don't mind that.
yes i know the right hand is wrong, but another pet peeve is i have no way of deleting or replacing the image that i can find, so mistaken uploads of incorrect version are stuck here. It's the second time I've done that as I have been feeling unwell and lost focus. But since i no longer care and won't be posting here unless I feel that myself and others I've seen are made to feel welcome and get a fair go despite subject matter, it can be deleted. The good stuff will stay private.
Konny said pretty much what I would say, I understand how demotivating it could be having posts disapproved (and how it also affects your post limits) but in this case I think it's really just the couple finger issues stopping this one from being approved, I think it's great.
On that note I would like to point out there is a way to replace posted images with fixed versions, you have to put a request in on topic #172 which I use myself from time to time.
Also please understand that the approvers/mods on this site are all voluntary and that "disinterest" reason is just the default option for them, I assume most of them are just trying to work through the queue as quick as they can and don't have time to put feedback for every post, they aren't snobby assholes they're probably just too addicted to gacha games and have time management issues like me.
Don't give up so easily. People like your generations — what more do you need? Deleted images, "disinterested", and your number of posts per day are just local stats on one of many sites. You may not even remember this site in 5 or 10 years, but your generations will still be preserved somewhere.
And honestly, you don't need more than one post per day to build a good account. Everything beyond that is just the color of your username.
You can post on Pixiv, but moderation is stricter there, and you'll need to censor genitalia. You'll also probably get fewer comments.
I like this image. I fixed the fingers because I wanted to asset #633979. There’s really nothing here that couldn’t be saved in Photoshop. You can replace the background images with your own generations to add an Easter egg.
As for "disinterest" — there's nothing you can do about it, because it's as normal as it is frustrating. People have different tastes — good, bad, it doesn't matter. Herman Melville spent his life thinking he was a terrible writer. He died believing he had accomplished nothing. It was only 30–40 years after his death that he became recognized as a classic writer, when people rediscovered his Moby-Dick. Now that's what I call real "disinterested". Deleted images aren't a big deal if you add more good ones in the future.
And it's probably better to ask in this thread, since it was literally created for situations like this: topic #70 It's always helpful to hear what others think. In fact, that's something worth appreciating.
And I would say, hobbies are supposed to be enjoyable, not a source of frustration.
